I am delighted to announce we have engaged the services of Catholic Evangelist Deacon Harold to speak at our 2020 Eucharistic Convention. It has been a challenging negotiation but one that I am very happy about.
Deacon Mark Rivalland
Deacon Harold is a dynamic Catholic speaker. As a popular radio host, television personality and highly regarded author, Harold gives presentations at retreats, parish missions, conferences year-round throughout the world. Harold brings the saving message of Jesus Christ to every event he speaks at; we are so fortunate he has agreed to come down-under to talk to our attendees at the 2020 Eucharistic Convention.
In this, my second year as Director of the Eucharistic Convention, I am coming to realize the need to take seriously the “step out of the boat and trust in the Lord” paradigm that is at the heart of bringing this event together. The “Jesus I Trust In You” chant that has been part of this convention since its inception is so easy to say, but so challenging to put into practice when the words have dissipated and action without certainty is the requirement of the day.
And so it is with great joy that can confirm I have “stepped out of the boat” and contracted Deacon Harold to come down to Auckland to add some dynamism to our 2020 Eucharistic Convention. While we don’t have the financial means to cover the associated costs of making this commitment right now, my prayer is “Jesus I Trust In You”, my Faith is that Jesus will provide the means, my Hope is that you, the people who love and support this convention will help fund this magnificent convention in whatever way you can, and together we can evangelise those who attend the event through the loving presence of Jesus in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. This is the only reason for the existence of this Eucharistic Convention.
To those who are able, could I encourage you to donate as your means allow to assist the funding of this convention? See below the bank account details for that purpose. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be issued for every donation received. In order to make our job to reconcile donations easier, please be sure to add a reference with each bank deposit (a surname is ideal) and email me at [email protected] so that I can correctly assign each donation to the correct receipt.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Together let’s make our 2020 Eucharistic Convention something to remember and a source of conversion for those souls who will be touched deeply by the Spirit of God.
