Both Ann and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner with guest speaker Diane Foley who spoke about the events leading up to and after her son’s execution by ISIS. It was great to get a first hand account rather than a media perspective of what happened and one could only ponder what our reaction may have been if faced with the same circumstances. The layout of the tables with designated places was a good idea especially for us from out of town as we did not know anyone else at the convention so it was a good way to meet others during the meal. We both learned a lot during the weekend and will give it very serious consideration to attend another next year.
