I just wanted to say thank you for including the ‘charity dinner’ in this year’s convention programme and what a delight it was to mix and mingle with the likes of Diane Foley and our other international guests. I know that most of us have own worries and concerns which so often are within our own families so it is such an inspiration to hear first hand what others like Diane have had to endure and how this adversity, however painful can be seen as a grace from God. I once read somewhere that He will allow us this pain so that we might snuggle up’ closer to Him ~ isn’t that so true and which, in times like this He is the only source of comfort. God Bless you for all your hard work in putting the EC together and I hope that the ‘charity dinner’ will be a permanent feature for all future conventions.
